Training with food is just a fantastic Form of like currency exchange with the Dog that just can't be replicated any Other way that one piece of kibble is Like one dollar five pieces of kibble in Your hand is roughly five dollars one Piece of hot dog that could be a 10 or 20 Bill leftover steak from the night Before those could be fifty dollar Pieces of food that you're handing your Dogs you might say Hey Garrett my dog Loves tennis ball why can't I just train Them with a tennis ball well you can but Most dogs like the tennis ball because You're going to throw it and they get to Chase it and maybe bring it back to you That could take 30 seconds to throw the Ball wait for them to come back and now It's taking you time just to get those Reps you can deliver a piece of food Instead of a tennis ball and they can Eat it in like one or two seconds which Opens up the door for guess what one More rep and so instead of one rep with The tennis ball over 30 seconds you're Getting 10 reps in in that same time Frame
