So if you’re out with a dog whether You’re at the dog park or on a long walk Or playing fetch with them and you find That the dog has progressed through the Three stages of of getting heat Exhaustion again stage one panting Normal stage two shovel tongue or Heart-shaped tongue that’s still fine Stage three that shovel tongue has Kicked over to the left or right you Don’t wanna go past stage three stage Four is heat stroke and you gotta take Your dog to the vet and it’s very Dangerous for them we don’t wanna we Don’t want that to happen so what you Wanna start doing is somewhere between Stage two before you get to stage three Meaning Shovel tongue before it kicks out and Starts to be off to the side left or Right you’ve got to cool that dog off Obviously get them in the shade get them Some water be careful of bloat don’t Want too much water in the system while They’re running around but the best Thing you do is find a hose or a pool And hose off their feet and their Armpits and their underside a lot of Blood vessels there in the webbing of Their feet and it will cool them off see In the next one
