Should you use a prong collar well it All depends on your dog and I believe Most dogs can be trained without one but There's nothing wrong with the tool Itself this brand in particular doesn't Have a center plate and it looks like That when this is on your dog it will Not distribute the weight evenly across All the prongs the one I would recommend Is a Herm Springer prone collar 2.25 and There is an alternative brand called Katie's buckles now this looks bad and a Lot of people get caught up on how Things look if you put this on you you Will see it is causing some physical Touch the level of pain or quote-unquote Aversive feeling the dog feels is from How you manage it on the other side of That leash so if it's like this and you Start to teach a dog that light pressure Means reward it's not an aversive Experience the dog is the one that Chooses if it's aversive or not and you Should not focus on Susan or Karen focus On your dog
