In this video we’re going to show you The proper way to pick up a little puppy Such as Miss Coney here so that you Don’t cause any injury so pay attention If you have a puppy you’re about to get A puppy let’s show you the proper ways All right the proper way is to come in Underneath their little butt area here And then grab them like that and grab Them by the chest and I have the full Body weight of this dog supported by my Arm and I always come in with a second Arm to kind of trap them so that don’t Wiggle and squirm their way out which Could be a very quick way for them to Fall hit the ground and break a bone Really easy so you’re going to be very Careful with that now she’s calm and Cool we’ll put her down in reward her What a good girl she is give her a Little bit of food to let her know she’s A winner now what we don’t want to do is Come in here and the soft part of the Belly where there is no structural Support by those bones and squish on her Internal organs if you do this you can Cause injury it’s very uncomfortable you Can even get a dog to fart on you if you Do it the wrong way so we don’t want to Mess around over there
