Story time with uncle garrett today We’re going to talk about a little Service dog horror story that happened Just last night at a local restaurant Around here uh the local restaurant that Shall not be named is a national brand If you will it’s a chain that’s all over And it’s somewhat of a sports bar if you Will and i have mr blue here who is a Five-month-old beautiful coney corso the Most excellent obedience you could ever Ask for in any dog and he is in fact Training to be guess what a service dog So i as a professional dog trainer going To this establishment that i’ve been in Dozens of times with dozens of different Dogs but there was a new manager on duty Some asshat who shall not be named and As i walk in with blue this guy bee Lines across the restaurant towards me i Haven’t taken 10 steps in and he goes ha We sir we only accept true service dogs In this establishment that’s how he Started didn’t say hi didn’t ask me a Question didn’t ask if the dog was a Service dog he was by the way Wearing exactly what you see here Meaning he wasn’t wearing this Because again if you watch your other Videos this means nothing it’s garbage You can have one that doesn’t that Doesn’t make it a service dog do you Think if i had the vest on he would have Maybe approached differently it’s
Possible but he started with we only Accept true service dogs So i asked him What do you mean what is a true service Dog and he goes well i’ve never seen a Pit bull as a service dog This Is not a pit bull i he was an he was an A-hole so guess how i responded first Off big guy this is not a pit bull it’s A kane corso and he is in fact a service Dog in training and i am a professional Dog trainer and where else is a service Dog in training supposed to uh continue His training except for the places that He’s going to be a service dog and so he Goes yeah but uh but uh uh uh uh and he Was mumble jumbling on his words and he Tried to ask me this question uh But what service does he provide and i Had to explain to him i actually had to Finish the question for him what service Does he provide sir i’m happy you asked That because that’s one of the only two Questions that you are allowed to ask Someone with a service dog and that is Number one Is it a service dog yes or no yes And What task does it perform
