Dog Training Teenage Phase
What are the worst things about the Teenage phase of raising a dog as a Canine behaviorist I rarely get to work With young puppies because frankly They're somewhat easier to train I tend To come into the equation when that Teenage phase really kicks in and things Start going out the window and the first Reason for that is that energy Requirements change massively you might Go from playful puppy bouncing to quite Severe teenage phase intensity for the Working role that that breed was Designed for then dogs in the teenage Phase are naturally inclined to test Your boundaries and if you don't know How to enforce those boundaries firmly They're going to push them further and Further and further out and naturally The teenage phase brings in a whole host Of hormones into your dogs and Especially intact males this can create Aggression towards other intact males And make a previously super playful Friendly puppy quite a serious dog to Have around other dogs
