What’s up everyone!! This week’s video is a 5 minute challenge! I use my Place command to PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY WORK my Belgian Malinois in just 5 minutes! OF COURSE he could go longer!! BUT! These challenges are about getting the most out of 5 minutes, NOT pushing the dog to absolute fatigue EVERY time! Use this as inspiration for your own training sessions! You can take the ideas and principles from this exercise and apply them BROADLY! You are your only limitation!!
HAPPY TRAINING!

What is up everyone andy krueger here When you see this hat you know it’s Summertime this week’s video five minute Challenge i take my one-year-old belgian Malinois freddy and i’m gonna physically And mentally tire him out in just five Minutes and i’m gonna do it using my Place command let’s go [Music] All right y’all so this place command is Designed for dog sports i’m gonna need This to build several exercises in the Sport i compete in with freddy french Ring so first i’m gonna start with food Then i’m gonna move to a toy let’s go [Music] [Music] Huh [Music] So very important before i bust out the Toy i need to make sure that my dog is Perfect for Food now we kick it up Tug yes [Music] Plus [Music] Um [Music] Huh [Music] So five minutes is actually a perfect Amount of time for this kind of exercise Because i want speed i want precision i
Want the dog flying through Flying back and hitting a down stay and Waiting with the utmost anticipation so Of course he could go longer but in that Five minute time period i’m really gonna Get the maximum of his physical and Mental energy Plus Plus Done [Music] Uh [Music] The physical part freddy is biting onto The tug he’s holding on he’s running Through he’s running back The mental part he has to leave that tug In order to ultimately get the tug and He doesn’t know how long he’s gonna wait Or in what fashion he’s gonna be Rewarded maybe i’ll throw it maybe i’ll Walk into him so the wheels are turning He’s thinking Therefore he’s getting worked [Music] [Music] Plus [Music] Now you notice i’m always rewarding him Back here i’m not rewarding him up Towards me you know why You should know why Come on it’s not that hard you know why Because i don’t want him anticipating
That reward and starting to gravitate Towards me and leaving his place That one’s free Done [Music] Ross [Music] Now i can already hear the comments for Anyone out there that’s gonna go off Five minutes a malinois my dog would Never be tired that dog sucks my dog Runs for seven hours straight after the Ball and five minutes later he’s ready To go Zip it this is a different kind of Exercise and when i say tired i say Exhausted couche Yeah i don’t mean that the dog is on Death’s door of exhaustion i just mean He had a good little mental and physical Workout so Five minutes that’s what you need Yes [Music] And Time There you have it y’all Five quick minutes of course i could Keep going Done But five quick minutes great physical Workout great mental workout don’t be Telling me you don’t have time to train Don’t tell me you don’t have time to
