[Music] [Applause] Hey folks welcome back to another Exciting episode of adventures in dog Training with american standard dog Training american overwatch canine Services and now diy k9.com all three Together so this is just a fun behind The scenes tell you a little bit about Uh more about what we do here and we Don’t always get to see who’s behind the Camera who’s behind the scenes doing the Accounting uh keeping us in check Keeping us fed keeping us The house clean picking up after dogs is My beautiful wife stephanie So everybody say hi to stephanie And she really helps us out a ton uh in The back right now we have a little mo She’s in training kai is in training We’ll get with them in a minute we’re Getting ready to go do a run We’re getting ready to go do a run to The uh to the local dog park uh to get Them a little proofed off some Distractions and you’ll notice here we Have a lineup of leashes in a particular Order of color and we’ll show you that In just a moment uh but over here What happened to that parade rest Gentlemen show me how it’s done there we Go So this is austin he is our most senior Assistant dog trainer
All right and then we also have cole he Is the newest member uh he’s only been Here two days And then we have uh the other austin who Is now known as dallas or ddp and he is Uh underneath austin if you will as far As how long they’ve been training with Us so these are our assistant dog Trainers they help us with everything Whether it’s just cleaning organizing Training just a little bit of everything So We thought this would be fun because we Always have a bunch of different colored Leashes and i just thought of this today We’re going to make it official we’re Going to make it official depending upon Their rank right depending upon how good They’re doing this is going to be like Karate it’s going to be like mma uh Uh what we call like brazilian jiu jitsu You’re going to get your uh your your Belt today so Let me first explain to you the order of Belts Brown Can anybody figure out why the lowest Rank might be brown That’s because when you start here at American standard dog training you are The poop picker-upper you are picking up Poop for a living and so we already know Who’s getting this cole welcome to the American standard family and we bequeath
To you this amazing i’m sure we’ll put This on claire well actually i can’t do It for you you’re gonna have to do Yourself like this yeah there you go Brown Thank you yep Doesn’t that look good on him folks he Is the official poop picker-upper until Uh he graduates from there graduation From there Would be green green because you know The green behind the ears i think they Say or what behind the ears give me some Examples here green like they call a Green horn Like fresh spring So dallas come on over here dallas i Think we’re gonna give you the green so He’s elevated from poop picker upper and Now he gets to wear the green leash So he’s doing good He’s still Super rookie though so get out of here Orange would be next Oranges They know just enough orange is like Danger right and the reason is they Think they know a lot and they think They know something And they know just enough to get Themselves in trouble and do something Really stupid so we’re going to give That to austin austin already knows [Music]
But But also we have some other colors here Once you get out of the orange zone you Get into the blue zone that means you’re Actually fairly decent dog trainer okay Next Black belt That means i mean you’re the supreme Being you’re killing it with the black Belt everybody knows what the black belt Is but then here we got the red belt red That’s just You’re the mack daddy You know what i’m talking about we’re Not red right now and then We got the pink That’s if you goof up around here and if You goof up around here you get to wear This for the day all right for the week Until you you make amends for what You’ve done so Everybody’s in the clear right now Nobody’s gonna wear the pink but i Wouldn’t be surprised if later today Somebody gets stuff The pink all right so that’s it that’s It let’s take a look at our boys here Oh for those of you that are interested Uh single Single single Not single all right not single so now You know you know where you can send Your fan mail send your man your fan Mail we got a po box we’ll make sure we
Get it to uh ddp austin and cole No fan mail for her all right she’s Taken now all right All right that’s it that’s enough Yapping we’re gonna load up actually and Then um head on over to the dog park Because these girls need some training All right so we’ll close out this video I’m always asked uh about my background And experience nobody really likes to Talk about themselves even though i talk A lot so we’ll make it short and sweet I’ve been training with police dogs for Over 20 years we’ve owned this business Going on over three years now we’ve had Our american overwatch canine services Business which focuses on training Police dogs and police canine handlers Across the country and in fact around The world how to be better at doing Their job so that’s where our passion is Right in training police dogs and police Handlers how to be the best at their job Because it’s really what it comes down To is nobody cares you can get your dog To sit in the kitchen but i want to make Sure that police canine handlers and Military canine handlers when they when The going gets tough and the tough gets Going that Those dogs perform to the highest level So that is my background that is my Passion and i’ve channeled all of that Experience and passion into
Pet dogs right because for every police Dog that’s out there there’s probably Ten thousand pet dogs that need just as Much help So that’s that’s what we do here we we Focus on police dogs in the one uh Business venture we focus on the Civilian dogs uh here to make sure your Dogs at home aren’t running out that Front door aren’t jumping on people Barking biting lunging you know all the Issues your puppies have we’re here to Help you with that and so we take dogs Into our boarding training program here At our home we only handle a few dogs at A time so they get maximum attention we Try to keep it pretty much a one to one Ratio of dog trainer or assistant dog Trainer per dog so it’s a very premium Experience that we do here mostly we’re Focusing on vip clientele and athletes And whatever you can fill in the gaps But we have a lot of we’re calling vip Clients coming through now Because we charge a pretty high premium For the type of work we do here we can’t Train every dog that’s kind of what i’m Getting at we cannot train every dog in The world it’s impossible but what we Can do and now what we’d like to do is Want to offer our training and Experience and put it into our diy K9.com courses and the whole point of That is so that
If you are trying to become an amazing Dog trainer or you are trying to raise Your dog or puppy to be amazing and be Really Well trained and obedient those courses Are for you it’s our way or is your way Of training with us without actually Being here training with us because We’re constantly backlogged four five Six months out for our board and train Program our board entering program is Pretty expensive it’s not for everyone And again uh even if it was cheaper we Still couldn’t train everybody’s dogs so Enough yapping we got dogs jumping out Of the truck they’re ready to train uh We will see you guys on the next video Thank you all for watching [Applause] [Applause] You
