Here I show a quick example of how I train the dog trick backward circles. Then I show a little bit of a training session I did with my two border collies, I sing to them as I do the cues, and then use the cues as reinforcers when I start to use less treats and toys.
This is the rear end awareness tutorial I was talking about:

Hello everyone and welcome to kikopop’s Dog training tip of the day for today i Got a request for teaching backward Circles this is just a quick tip video So i’ve got treats in both of my hands My dog already knows to back up as well As to turn at my side and if you don’t Know how to train that you can look at My rear end awareness video that i’ll Link in the description below but first I’m going to line him up in this corner Like this and i’m just going to turn him In the heel position like this Just to get him comfortable with being In this corner then when he’s Comfortable with that what i’m going to Do is start with him at my side like This And i’m just going to lower him without Moving myself so at first i’m moving With him like this Good and then my hands are are moving uh In in the same way this was but i’m Switching hands to the other hand so the Time you’re going to mark at first is When he Yes goes and picks himself up on your Other hand And it’s not going to look very pretty At first good he’s just learning this Good and then i suggest teaching the Other direction Good So that they’re
